Re: 124thatc and Zibo 737

I use Onlineflightplanner (as I don't like SimBrief) and copy&paste the route fixes from the generated PDF into 124th's flight plan field.
As route fixes listed across multiple lines in that PDF screws up the flight plan field when pasted into it, I've reverted to typing in each fix by hand.

Re: No audio output (TTS) on Linux

I use espeak-ng because it works out of the box with speech-dispatcher for me.

All other TTS engines seem to require some degree of configuration to work.

Re: No audio output (TTS) on Linux

Do you have a TTS engine installed and is it working?

I've also reported this behavior three or four times in the release candidate thread: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17

Re: No audio output (TTS) on Linux

Just for information: I've managed to get TTS to work on Arch Linux, but only using by espeak-ng as a TTS provider (Festival wouldn't work). And I had to keep the speech-dispatcher config at default values.

Re: Error Code = 182

Google says that this may be caused by a conflict with another plugin.

Looking at your plugin list, it may be X-Life and/or XACARS.

You can try the advanced tip posted here: http://www.jardesign.org/ticket/kb/faq.php?id=62
(Replace the DLLs inside XACARS with the ones from X-Life or 124th.)

I believe you can be affected by this bug. I'll make further tests as soon I'll find a minute.
Yup, looks like it.

But as I've said, letting users define the entire registry path in voices.txt would make things somewhat easier for them and you.

Re: Multivoice with Ivona voices

I only ever got Mark, Eva, Zira and David to run for voice output in 124th. Even the other voices from Microsoft-supplied language packs, like Hazel or Sean, only worked in Windows 10's "Speech" menu when I tried them. The main registry locations for installed voices seem to be: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\S...

Re: No audio output (TTS) on Linux

I have audio output working on my Ubuntu 18.04 machine using XLinSpeak. You'll find a binary here: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/114358-native-speech-synthesis-for-linux/ Just make sure speech-dispatcher is installed on your system. If you need help, just ask :-) I'm curious ab...

Re: Area Control Center - ACC.dat general discussion

I was asking to describe because I didn't had idea was the change was, I don't remember the whole acc.dat. I just had a look to the acc.dat and I noticed EPWW was completely missing! I generated the file automatically, so definitely something can be missing. Thanks for report it, I added the line a...

Re: Area Control Center - ACC.dat general discussion

Can you describe the suggested change? I'm not familiar with the Warsaw area. Not sure what I'm supposed to describe. It's just a very simplified implementation of the Warszawa FIR. https://www.eurocontrol.int/sites/default/files/content/documents/official-documents/reports/2014-lssip2013-poland.pd...

Re: How to import FMS?

Type the list of fixes into the box from hand or copy and paste it with CTRL+C and CTRL+V also works. Also only focus on the fixes and leave out any airway names and "DCT" instructions.

Re: 124thatc and Zibo 737

I never got the FMC function to work with the 737-800X, since its FMS runs outside of the default FMS logic and therefor, the "import from FMS" button won't work.

To enter a route for 124th ATC, I have to take the list of fixes and type or paste them manually into the "flightplan" field.
