Multiple voices with Mac OS10

Running 124thATC with X-Plane 10 on a Mac, there seems to be no option for different voices of ATC and pilot. All the discussions of this I've found via searches are for Windows. However, using XP's built-in ATC, I'm hearing two voices -- male ATC, female pilot -- so I know my platform can do this. Is there a way to invoke the same thing in 124thACT?
