newbie question

never flown from cold and dark or pushback from hanger, I have always started from the runway with plane started. I HAVE INSTALLED the program and downloaded the manual but just a few quick questions. Is there a tuitorial that specifies. You use ground frequencies for this and tower for this etc etc. and what order. I look at youtube and I see them using the info and frequencies but I don't see who they are talking to , the same when I am trying to descent. thanks in advance

If I understand your question correctly, then the order is:

Before the takeoff:
1) DELIVERY - you submit a flight plan
2) GROUND - you are asking for permission to start the engines, taxi to the active runway
3) TOWER - you get permission to takeoff
4) CENTER - after takeoff
Then you change the frequencies during the flight to other CENTER (depending on the areas you fly over)
Before landing:
5) APPROACH - when you approach an airport
6) TOWER - you get permission to land
7) GROUND - ground service from leaving the runway to the parking space

Thanks that was my question . One problem is when it says contact after you get to threshold. I can’t contact. Or while taxing it shut the dialogue box right off. While taking aff I get contact tower at 126.55 and when I do it works great just don’t always get that sometimes just red numbers counting backward to contact someone. When it worked it was really good. Looking on airport charts can’t always tell the frequencies
