This warning has started to appear on my screen when XP starts up and I have no idea for to fix it.
I have searched the manual for 'warning' and 'earthNav' and there are no references in the manual.
Could someone please give me a clue as to where to start looking.
Thanks

Strange flight plan
I have 'flown' a very short flight by b738 and the directions given by atc appeared very strange and as such I nearly ran out of fuel. Can anyone suggest why atc (124thatc) 'directed me on such a very long flight for what really should have been a short flight. I have attached the flight plan and sc...

Resume own navigation
Does 124thATC ever advise the pilot to "resume own navigation". Can I use a combination of using directions from 124thATC and either manually controlling navigation of using FMC autopilot? Can 124thATC be temporarily 'turned off' for most of the flight and then re-engage when nearing the destination...

Re: ATC volume and voise change
As mentioned in a previous reply I increased the volume by increasing the "radios volume". This is doen via the X-Plane SETTINGS window then select the SOUNDS tab/section, then dragging the slider marked RADIOS fully to the right. If this is still not enough one could then drag the slider for AIRCRA...

Re: ATC volume and voise change
Maybe I didn't explain myself properly. I can hear other voices in the flight deck from other sources in a different voice and notiably louder such as the 'altitude callouts' when landing and those voices from better pushback but as you pointed out in an earlier reply they come from WAV files such a...

Re: ATC volume and voise change
The voice and volume from ATIS (using 124thATC as well as manually tuning ATIS frequency on radio 'stack') sounds the same as delivery etc. I increase the X-Plane 'radios volume' and now hear ATIS etc. Hopefully the volume of other voices (from the Zibo aircraft?) can be controlled by the X-Plane 'a...

Re: ATC volume and voise change
Thanks. YES I am using Windows. I was hoping that the volume of voices within 124thATC was controllable as it is very SOFT and I can hardly hear both the instructions from ATC and the readback whereas all other voices (from X-Plane) are much louder and easily heard eg I can hear voices from the cabi...

ATC volume and voise change
I am wondering where I can change the volume of the ATC voice (all other voices are easily heard) and also can the actual voice be changed and if so how?
Thanks
John

Re: Problem with navaids points in the flight plan
"I installed the latest version of 124thATCv2.0-a60RC31.zip"
Where did you get that version from? When I go to the download site all I see is the version I have which says it is a year old.

Re: Not getting takeoff clearance at LPPT
I got involved in this and thought I could assist as I experienced a similar problem with custom scenery for YSCB and thought that perhaps it could be solved as I did by modifying the APT.DAT. It would be good for 124thATC to allow for duplicate frequencies but there is a work around by modifying th...

Re: Not getting takeoff clearance at LPPT
I seem to be totally lost regarding what you experienced and how you overcame the problem. I have never used WED and as such don't understand about " I've downloaded via WED another copy of LPPT (the one marked for 10.50)" . It appears to me that doing so resulted in an APT.DAT file which contains t...

Re: Not getting takeoff clearance at LPPT
Shane, I now notice that you are running XP10. I am running XP11 and don't see those frequencies. In my humble opinion it would seem that the problem is coming from stock XP scenery (as you state the problem frequency remains even after removing all custom scenery and yes also PLUGINS have an effect...

Re: Not getting takeoff clearance at LPPT
Shane , the 'experience' you are having seems very strange. When I check the 'comms' frequencies using the XP stock scenery and then after installing LPPT no static tdg they are exactly the same (as would be expected as there is NO APT.DAT file in the custom scenery folder, yet you indicate you have...

Re: Not getting takeoff clearance at LPPT
I have posted in a separate thread that it appears that 124thATC HAS PROBLEMS when two different ATC 'types' have the same frequency. It also happens when the DELIVERY and GROUND ATC 'types' have the same frequency. Exactly what are all the frequencies and ATC 'types' in the customer scenery APT.DAT...

Volume control and accent?
How do I control the volume of the ATC chatter from 124thATC? I can hear the XP ATC chatter much louder? Also I have watched Youtube videos where the 124thATC vooice was a different accent. Thinking that this was 'controlled' by the 'Windows' audio I checked that out according to the 'visually impai...
